Responsible Anchoring in Cala Montgó, Ferriol and Pedrosa.
Recreational boating in these three coves of the Natural Park is regulated to protect the Posidonia oceanica on the seabed. For this reason, anchoring is not allowed, and boats must moor to the buoys.
- Avoid anchoring and tie to the mooring buoys. Posidonia is a protected marine plant with high ecological value. It’s been proven that anchoring uproots it, and once displaced, it cannot survive.
-
If you’re sailing in the Natural Park, help protect it by using the designated mooring buoys and avoiding the seagrass meadows. Always check the anchoring and Posidonia maps before heading out.
