Route
Departure/Arrival: Platja Castell (Palamós)
How to reach usRoute
Another route that heads north and then back again, the point of departure being platja Castell, an iconic site both because it was spared from property development by a popular referendum in 1994 and because it houses the historic remains of an Iberian settlement (6th Century BC).
The route continues on to Cap Roig, a stretch of coastline where pine trees paint the landscape green almost as far as the shore line. This route exudes history and nature and features a string of virgin beaches that we will gradually discover. We also a stop halfway along the route for a breather.
