{"id":9720,"date":"2022-09-05T14:03:41","date_gmt":"2022-09-05T14:03:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kayakingcostabrava.com\/oncocaiac-2022\/"},"modified":"2022-09-08T10:53:32","modified_gmt":"2022-09-08T10:53:32","slug":"oncocaiac-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kayakingcostabrava.com\/en\/oncocaiac-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Oncocaiac 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Llafranc<\/h1>\n<h2>24\/09\/2022<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This year <a href=\"https:\/\/kayakingcostabrava.com\/\">Kayaking Costa Brava<\/a> collaborates again with the 2nd edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/oncolligagirona.cat\/reptes-solidaris\/oncocaiac.html\">Oncocaiac<\/a> charity kayak race organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/oncolligagirona.cat\/\">Oncolliga<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.touristservice.es\/\">Tourist Service<\/a> from Llafranc.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>How it works?<\/h4>\n<p>This challenge consists of a kayak crossing. All the participants will gather at les <strong>8:30 am\u00a0<\/strong>at <strong>Llafranc<\/strong> beach (next to Tourist Service) there orgainzation will provide a short briefing where they&#8217;ll explain how the race will work and the check the sea conditions. We will leave Llafranc beach at 9 am, following the coast line until we reach Cap de Planes, then we&#8217;ll paddle around the Formigues Islands and get back to Llafranc. Estimated arrival time is around 12 am.<\/p>\n<p>The money collected will go towards the needs of the <a href=\"https:\/\/oncolligagirona.cat\/\">Fundaci\u00f3 Oncolliga Girona<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Things to consider:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Meeting time is <strong>8.30 am<\/strong> at <strong>Llafranc<\/strong> beach next to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.touristservice.es\/\">Tourist Service<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Race will start at <strong>9.00 am<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If you don&#8217;t have a buoyancy aid vest (PFD) organization will provide it<\/li>\n<li>The estimated time of arrival will be at <strong>12.00 pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>On arrival there will be <strong>refreshments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Race can be done using both single and double kayaks, <strong>inflatable kayaks are not allowed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you do not have your own kayak, the organization will provide one for \u20ac10.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Registrations<\/h4>\n<p>You can register here:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<a href='https:\/\/oncolligagirona.cat\/reptes-solidaris\/oncocaiac\/inscripcions.html' class='small-button smallblue'>I&#8217;d like to take part of it!<\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Llafranc 24\/09\/2022 &nbsp; This year Kayaking Costa Brava collaborates again with the 2nd edition of the Oncocaiac charity kayak race organized by Oncolliga &amp; Tourist Service from Llafranc.
