Sea kayaking allows us to observe and explore the animal life, plants and geology<\/strong> of the coasts of different protected areas of the Costa Brava, such as the Nature Reserves of Cap de Creus<\/strong> and Montgr\u00ed, the Medes Islands and Baix Ter, <\/strong>as well as the natural interest areas of Muntanyes de Begur <\/strong>and Castell-Cap Roig<\/strong>; you will also learn about the material needed and basic kayaking skills. Our kayak guides-instructors are also qualified guides of the aforementioned nature reserves.<\/p>\n We teach the basic paddling techniques<\/strong> and other theoretical notions by way of an introduction right on the beach. The pupils then gear up and we set off on a route in the course of which we identify plant, birds, fish and geological formations, accompanied by a brief explanation of each one.<\/p>\n We use double sit-on-top kayaks, since they are safe and very stable, making them ideal for group activities. Kayaking Costa Brava does not have a suitable structure for the safekeeping of personal belongings and therefore cannot be held responsible for any possible loss or damage of personal material left for safekeeping.<\/p>\n Rates\/prices are per person (except the customised rates for groups) and include VAT. This includes the necessary technical and safety equipment: kayak, jacket, paddle and helmet (the latter if the excursion so requires), two qualified guides and a safety vessel. The activity will be adapted to the number of participants. As of a certain number of participants, the group will be split into subgroups and the activity will be performed in turns.<\/p>\n
